Nice shears definitely great quality. Folds over thicker hair. Great for super thin/drop coated breeds would not suggest for anything curly coated unless the hair is fine. Happy overall.

I bought these shears after purchasing the 8" curves of the same set, and have so far been very pleased with them. That said, the tips of my curves have already begun to dull, and it's only been less than a month since I purchased them, so now I am waiting for my Thinners to do the same.

I was on a dog forum and asked about thinning sheers, and none other than Jonathan David answered my question. I told him his signature sheers were out of stock on the Kenchii website, and he recommended 3 other sheers. I chose the Dreamcatcher based and length and number of teeth. I’m very happy with the sheers and even more delighted with Jonathan’s advice.
