This is my 3rd day using it and I will need to return it. Just by switching the blades, somehow, the clippers started making a SUPER loud and annoying noise. I truly regret not buying the Flash one. The Flash 5 doesn’t brings the same quality. The blades are hard to switch. Hard to pull out and annoying to place a new blade. It is not a “smooth” exchange. This one is a big fail to me. I will be returning it.

So, I recently purchased the pink hummingbird Kenchii Flash5 clippers. When the Flash5 clippers came out originally I purchased both the teal dog and the black tiger, only for everyone in my salon to also catch on and love them, and they now have the original sugar skull and the original pink hummingbird, design. The new design is still good, it’s still works and runs just as I would expect it to, however, they did flip the power button and speed adjustment around… which I find very annoying. Why? Now when I switch between the original and these it’s just a pain in my ass. Always changing the speed when I want them off in a hurry. I also dislike the new speed display, it was a 1-5 setting, it now shows… I BELIEVE, rpms or something like that- so 50-55-60-65-70…. Again… why mess with a flawless design. I also do not like the new body to the clipper, I find that I have almost dropped it several times now compared to my OG clippers. The backs are also all white now, again a small turn off for me- I loved the black/teal/pink/purple backs. The plastic feels much cheaper and I have a feeling these ones won’t last years like my teal dogs. THE ONLY thing I like about the “update” is the base in which the clipper sits, it’s more egg shaped and sturdy. Kenchii please go back to the old design, or at least make adjustments to this clipper. You want to charge the same amount but lower the quality/design of the clipper? Never makes sense to me when companies do this

Awesome cordless clipper we love it

I love the Flash 5 cordless clipper, light weight and comfortable best part is my kids are not afraid of it and it not noisy. I recommend it to everyone plus the Premium grooming spray.

Had a slight problem with product but customer service was very helpful and nice. Should have replacement blade soon.

Really great product. Wished knew about these before the other 3 a bought that don't work.

I had high hopes for the Kenchii Flash 5 but after weeks of use I'm unimpressed. At first it was very quiet and cut hair very easily. No complaints about the battery life. But now it's loud, makes concerning noises and does not cut well at all I have to go over the same spot multiple times for it to catch the hair. I take very good care of my clippers, they are properly and well oiled and cleaned consistently. No matter what care I give the clipper it's not performing well. My years old andis vita lasted much longer and performed better which is disappointing because I love the Kenchii brand. I also received a free gift with my purchase during the Christmas sale but my gift was a replacement bottle for a finishing spray. I do not have a bottle or spray nozzle to be able to even use it. It was a factor in deciding to buy the clipper but even the gift is not usable at the moment. I avoid using it at this point

My girlfriend loves it and says it’s been helping her greatly with her dog grooming and is doing exactly what she needed it for.

The Kenchii flash 5 was a very pretty clippers & it felt very nice in my hand.I have a mini Bernadoodle & it just did not have enough power to trim his hair. I really was hoping for the best.It is very quiet.I only used it for less then 20 seconds & it just wasn't working.I was really hoping for the best.
