Comfort and technique
As a newer groomer, not only do these make it more comfortable to groom, but they help me with proper technique throughout the day. As a side note, I love the video on how to insert these.

Good accessory
From my point of view, especially good for those with smaller or thinner fingers! On the Eric Salas 8" shears, these inserts required some massaging to work into place but once fitted, the shears became more comfortable and cushioned. Offers better control, to make the best use of your shears.
