Really heavy
The overall quality of these years are awesome! That being said I wish I had known how heavy they are and big they are really not ideal for any small dogs great for doodles and standard poodles but I have other eight and nine inch shears that I can use on small dogs just fine but these are just way too gaudy.

The first time I picked them up, I thought they were too light. They weren't heavy enough to be real. Now that I've used them for a couple of weeks, I'm in love! They cut through coats from Cocker hair to Poodles. They are whisper quiet, too. I have used the tinning shears to do almost an entire hair cut with beautiful results. My one complaint would be that this is the only set of shears I have ever bought that did not come with a cleaning cloth. Kenchii, be a dear and put a cleaning cloth in this set so I can keep them clean and looking new!

Love my lightnings!
I bought these at groom expo west, I was going to go for a level 2 shear to save money, but they offered a great deal that I couldn't pass up! After working with them I realized that they're worth every penny. I love that you can flip them around and use them either way... perfect for poodle heads!! They're pretty large but they feel great in my small hands and they've made a huge difference in my finishing! Love my lightnings, love Jonathan David, Love Kenchii!
