I recently added the 5 stars set to my shear collection after wanted an upgrade from my Scorpions (great workhorse shear set that's are still going strong 3 years later). I cannot get over how absolutely amazing these thinners are! Everything blends beautifully and are so comfortable and lightweight.

Upon opening, the thinners caught and would not close properly. Called kenchii and was told to watch the video to try to fix my brand new thinners myself. If that didn’t work, I could submit a request to return them which needed to be reviewed and approved then I would hear back from someone. Don’t have time for this. Quality control needs improvement.
They are great when they are not “catching”. I just must not be able to get them adjusted correctly. I do have other pairs that work great. These make 2 or 3 cuts, then catch. I have tried to adjust them per your video
These are not as sharp as I thought they would be. Feels like it "chews" the dog hair. Needed something that would cut the first time on an active dog.
These are really good shears. I am a beginner groomer so I don't know much but from all my coworkers, they say kenchii is a top knotch brand!
