None of the shears were cutting right at first, I had to pay $15 each to be sharpened and was told the curves were bent and needed to be returned. I'm in the middle of that process now. The chunkers and straights work excellent after being sharpened. It is a bummer when you spend money on expensive shears and then have to pay to get them sharpened, but like I said, once sharpened they work great.

I will be honest and say that I had a bad customer service experience with kenchii earlier this year. I promised myself I was never going to buy Kenchii again because I had lost faith in them from my previous purchase that I wasn't happy with. However when I purchased other brands. I was very unhappy with them. So, I decided to give Kenchii another go and, I gotta say, I love my new "Love" shears set! They cut beautifully they handle wonderfully. Again I find my self singing their praises because of how great they are! I will continue to recommend Kenchii to my coworkers and I will add that you redeemed yourselves with this Kenchii!

The quality seems good, but none of the 3 scissors were very sharp, especially the 8" curves, which were hardly useable. I checked the tension and made sure they were oiled properly and they still didn't cut near as well as other shears I have that have never been sharpened. I had previously ordered the Love chunkers and they worked great right out of the box so I ordered the 3-set. I would think there would be better quality control before shipping these out to make sure they are ready to go, but all will need sharpened before I can really use them and that's quite an expense right on top of purchasing the set.
I finally bought myself a Kenchii set and I must say it lived up to the hype. I'm forever a customer~
