I have a show quality pekingese with a very full, heavy long coat. The shears are very easy to use and cut my dogs coat very easily. I am having a problem with my thinning shears closing and opening properly but I will send them back and I’m sure Kenchi will fix them. I’m anxiously awaiting for them to come out with the curved blending shears which I will buy. I also like the warranty that comes with their shears and their online videos. The videos teach you how to take care of your shears which I think is a real plus. Jonathan David works in conjunction with Kenchi and he is the best groomer for all breeds that I have ever seen and I’ve worked with and have seen a lot of groomers. I am. A noxiously waiting for Jonathan to come out with some grooming videos.

Ive used Kenchii before and have always been happy but this set was definitely an upgrade! They are BEAUTIFUL and so sharp

Unbelievably smooth, like butter. I had no idea what I was missing with out a high quality product like this. I was using a very low quality store bought shears and they causing my skin to tear from the pressure on my right middle finger due to having to use tension in my hand to control the shears tension. I could not BELIEVE how amazing these Kenchii shears were. Definitely an investment but with having to supplement grooming inbetween professional visits, I think it will be worth the investment.

The scissors are great but the chunkers and thinners were defective and snagging. Sent them back but still waiting for replacement and it's really annoying not having proper tools.
